Sign A Membership Card

Once your workplace is represented by the MGEU, you still have to fill out a membership application to officially become a MGEU member.

If you don't get a membership card, we won't be able to send you important information when your Local is at the bargaining table, and updates on what your union is up to all year long, including where your dues are being spent. It also means you cannot save on everything from furniture and gardening supplies to fitness passes and legal services throughout Manitoba.

How to get a membership card*

Just follow these three easy steps:
1. Get an application form. You can download a pdf application; or request one from your MGEU workplace steward; or contact the MGEU Resource Centre and they will send a form to you.

2. Fill the form out completely. Remember to print carefully and sign and date at the bottom. If you don't know where to find some of the information required, contact the Resource Centre.

3. Drop the application off at any MGEU office (list of regional offices), leave it with your steward, or mail it to:

*Applications can only be downloaded and signed if you are an employee in a workplace which is already represented by the MGEU. If your workplace is not yet organized by the MGEU, contact our organizing department.
