Bargaining Updates as of Wednesday September 1, 2010

Addiction Foundation of Manitoba: Next bargaining dates set for September 13, 14, 27 and October 26 and 27.

Allied Wings FW Inc. : Next bargaining dates set for August 24, 25, and September 21, 22.

ANCR: Work on revising the Collective Agreement from the GEMA to reflect ANCR is near completion. Dates for September bargaining to be confirmed shortly.

Beacon Hill Lodge: Bargaining dates scheduled for September.

Canadian Blood Services: Collective agreement is with employer for proofing and they anticipate having it done by the end of next week. Once completed it will be mailed out to all members of the locals.

CEDF:  Employer and Union agree to postpone bargaining until the fall, dates to be scheduled.

Child and Family Service Central Manitoba Supervisors:  Bargaining committee reviewed final draft, wait for dates from employer.

Child and Family Service Central Manitoba Support:   Bargaining committee reviewed final draft, wait for dates from employer.

Child and Family Service Western: Waiting to hear from employer on next bargaining dates.

Civil Service: Bargaining on non-monetary items is ongoing. Bargaining dates set through August.

Colleges:  After a year without a new contract, Red River College and Assiniboine Community College ratified new collective agreement on July 30.  See home page for more details.

Community Support:  The parties have reached an impasse on the issue of full-time and part-time jobs (EFTs) for Home Care workers/Proctors. No discussions have yet taken place on monetary issues. The Union and the Employer have filed jointly for conciliation. Dates are set for the end of August and through September and October. A Bargaining Update has been mailed to all members. Information sessions are being scheduled in a number of locations across the province.

COR Enterprises: Next Bargaining dates scheduled for Sept 15 and 21.

Correction Sub Agreement: Next bargaining date set for July 28 and then 3 days per week in the last 3 weeks of August.

Dakota Oyate Lodge Inc:  Letter sent to Chief and Council, waiting for reply.

Golden Door Geriatric Centre:  Bargaining dates scheduled for September.

Knowles Centre:  Waiting for the employer’s response.

Macdonald Youth Services APHP: The union received notice to enter discussion for 2010 wage reopener, no dates scheduled for meetings until employer gets mandate.

Macdonald Youth Services Crisis Stabilization: Waiting for employer to set bargaining dates.

Manitoba Agricultural Service Corporation (Adjustors): Committee met to approve final proposal package, waiting to set dates for bargaining. 

Manitoba Agricultural Service Corporation (Administration): Committee met to approve final proposal package, waiting to set dates for bargaining.

Manitoba Centennial Centre: Bargaining dates set for September 13 and 15.

Manitoba Gaming Control Commission:  Committee meeting September 23 to finalize proposals.

Manitoba Housing:  Update has been sent out to all local members advising then of what is happening with transition to Civil Service Master Agreement.

Manitoba Museum: Last bargaining session was held June 29 where it was expected to get position on monetary items. This did not happen and bargaining has now been suspended until September.

Medical Transportation Coordination Centre:  Waiting to hear from employer to set next bargaining dates.

Nelson House Personal Care Home:  Bargaining dates to be scheduled.

Osborne House: Notice to commence bargaining has been given to the employer, bargaining proposal meeting to be held shortly.

Poseidon Care Centre: Bargaining dates scheduled for September.

Project Neechewam: Waiting for response from the employer.

R.O.S.E. Inc.: Next bargaining date set for September 21.

Sandy Bay First Nation:  Bargaining meeting with employer set for June 24.

Society for Manitobans with Disabilities: Meeting dates with employer on wage re-opener have been requested.

South Indian Lake Community Council (OPCN):  Dates to be scheduled, employer cancelled dates in June.

St Amant CRP:  Bargaining dates set for August 26 and September 8.

St Norbert Personal Care Home: Dates set to commence bargaining are August 17 and 19.

Tamarack Rehabilitation Inc:  Members ratified new collective agreement.

Technical/Professional Component: : Bargaining dates have been set in September, October and November and both sides continue to work on non monetary issues.

Travel Manitoba: Non monetary issues complete, waiting for employer to set next bargaining dates.

University College of the North: The Collective Agreement Expired on June 18th, 2010.  Bargaining proposals are being finalized and date will be scheduled for bargaining in the near future.

Westman Women’s Shelter: Next bargaining date set for September 7.

Winnipeg Clinic:  Tentative agreement ratified July 26.

Winnipeg Paramedics: Letter has been sent out to all local members to advise them of the direction the negotiating team will be taking in the best interest of the members.

Winnipegosis and District Ambulance Service:  Conciliation applied for and Conciliator has been appointed. Waiting for the employer to set dates.

WRHA Community Programs:  Bargaining dates have been set for August and September.
